Amazon Prime Video is the latest streaming service to start showing ads - unless you pay extra, that is.
Starting Jan. 29th, Prime Video will add "limited advertisements" to movies and TV shows, the company says.
An ad-free tier is available for an extra $2.99 a month - on top of the $139 per year you're already paying for a Prime subscription.
It's been a growing trend in the streaming world - Netflix, Disney+, Max, and Paramount+ all rolled out ad-supported tiers in 2021 and 2022.
How many streaming platforms do you subscribe to? Is it worth it to pay for the ad-free tier?
