Stranger Things Star Noah Schnapp Comes Out As Gay

Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp just came out as gay in his most recent TikTok! During Summer 2022, Noah Schnapp confirmed that his character on Stranger Things, Will Byers, was gay in an interview. Today, Noah Schnapp himself has gone public with his identity. ⁠When asked about Will’s emotional story, the teen actor confirmed that it’d been teased since season one, commending the character's sexuality arc, “I think it is done so beautifully because it’s so easy to make a character just like all of a sudden be gay.”⁠ In his coming out video, the audio can be heard saying: “You know what it never was? That serious. It was never that serious. Quite frankly, will never be that serious", Noah is pictured lip syncing the audio with the caption above reading, “When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was ‘we know.’”⁠He also captioned the video with 'I guess I'm more similar to Will than I thought'.
