Starting next year, Dolly Parton will be giving away free books for kids under the age of 5 in California as part of her Imagination Library Program.
Each month, Parton will be mailing a new book to each child that is signed up for her program. The inspiration behind Imagination Library was from Parton's father who actually never learned how to read or write. Over 2.4 million kids across Cali will be eligible for the program starting in June 2023. For more information, click here.
