102.7 KIIS FM Jingle Ball presented by Capital One returned to the KIA Forum on Friday (December 2). Holiday spirit was in full swing thanks to a star-studded line-up, including acts like Dua Lipa, Jack Harlow, Pitbull, and more.

Khalid joined us in The Mercedes-Benz Interview Lounge to talk about his upcoming album and his tour with fellow artist Ed Sheeran.

His current tour dates have been "amazing" so far, according to Khalid. For his upcoming album, Khalid explained that he has been taking his time working on it and wants to make sure that he puts out something that he believes in and something that is special to him.

"I'm really excited and honestly it's some of my best music that I've made so far in my career," he excitedly told KIIS' Jojo and Sisanie. "Music means so much to me so I don't want to rush it."

Khalid shared that while the pandemic was difficult for him and everybody, he explained that it gave him the chance to "reset" his focus and his energy.

With much excitement, Khalid added that his upcoming tour with Ed Sheeran will be his first stadium tour. He said he wouldn't rather have this experience with anybody but Ed Sheeran since he's "awesome". Together, the two artists share a song called "Beautiful People".

"It's a little nerve-wracking, I can't lie," Khalid said while imagining his upcoming stadium tour and the idea of so many eyes on him while he's on stage performing. However, he's excited and prepared for this experience.

For Christmas, Khalid said he's looking for kicking back with his puppies and for the New Year, he will be performing with Marshmello in Miami.

As far as what else fans can expect from Khalid in the future? "Great music, positivity, maybe a ton of collaborations to come," he shared. However, he can't spoil any of those collaborations just yet.
