According to Chewboom, Panda Express is testing a new Orange Chicken Sandwich at their innovation kitchen in Pasadena! The Original Orange Chicken sandwich will include a brioche bun, sriracha aioli sauce, pickles and a crispy chicken strip glazed in the brand’s signature Orange Chicken sauce. The sandwich cost $5.95 at the Innovation Test kitchen, and the difference between this new recipe and the old one is that the new recipe replaces the spicy aioli sauce with sriracha aioli sauce, glazes the entire crispy chicken strip with Orange Chicken sauce as opposed to just a dollop of the sauce, replaces the King’s Hawaiian bun with a brioche bun and totally removes the shredded cabbage.
