Hollywood Boulevard is getting a new look at the beginning of June. The world's most famous street is about to get an extra pizzazz. According to Patch, uplight fixtures are going to be placed under tree canopies that stretch 0.6 miles down the street. The lights will be able to shine any color. So no matter if it's Christmas, Valentine's Day, or Spanish Heritage Month, the lights can be used to celebrate any and every occasion and holiday.
"The enhanced lighting along Hollywood Boulevard will positively impact the neighborhood for years to come," Hollywood Partnership CEO Kathleen Rawson said, according to Patch. "This project will not only make our streets brighter and safer, it will also spark a greater sense of place and community.
