Star Wars Day events across Southern California to celebrate May the 4th

As May the Fourth (Be with You) rapidly approaches, here are some Star Wars Day-themed events that you can attend to get you in the spirit of the out-of-this-world day.

Das Bunker

Das Bunker, an industrial dance club, will hold an interactive Star Wars Night on May 6. The event begins at 9 p.m.

Disneyland

The big Star Wars Nite event on May 3 is sold out, but another event has been added from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on May 9. Costumes are welcome for this event.

Dodgers

The Dodgers are hosting a Star Wars night on May 4. They are giving away R2D2/ LA Beanies to game attendees while supplies last. Dodgers will be playing NL West Rivals the SF Giants on May 4.

Glen Avon Regional Library

Come out to Glen Avon Regional Library this May 4th to celebrate all things from the galaxy far, far with the members of the Southern California Garrison of the 501st Legion!

Long Beach Beer Lab

Join the Long Beach Beer Lab, a small brewery and bakery, for a day of festivities to celebrate May the Fourth. They will have new beer releases that pair with Star Wars-inspired beer and pastries.

Neiman and Company -- Movies on Location:

In celebration of Star Wars Day, May the 4th, My Valley Pass will present Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens as part of their ongoing film series Movies On Location. This May the 4th, join My Valley Pass in Van Nuys as they screen Star Wars: The Force Awakens in the parking lot of Neiman & Company, formerly the original location of Industrial Light & Magic where all of the visual effects for Star Wars (1977) were produced.

Pretend City Children's Museum

Calling all Jedis in Training! It’s time to report for duty! Join the Pretend City Children's Museum for a spaced-out day of Star Wars activities as they celebrate May the Fourth be With You! For $1 off admission, dress in your best Star Wars outfit.

Riverside Municipal Auditorium

Riverside Municipal Auditorium's May the 4th Festival will feature a showing of Star Wars: A New Hope. Door will open at 6 p.m. and the movie begins at 7 p.m. It will also include an alien Cantina band, Hip Hop Trooper, Star Girls, DJ Chuck None, a comedy roast hosted by TheGeekGatsby, an art exhibit, shopping, a cosplay competition and more.

Scum & Villainy Cantina

This Star Wars popup is now a permanent lounge with weekly events, themed cocktails and mocktails with a limited menu. It will host May the Fourth with a trivia contest and other surprises. The event lasts from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. Anyone under 21 is welcome with a parent from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
