If you ever find yourself lost and can't send your location to someone due to poor connection, a new app called what3words can help you!
According to KTLA 5, the app is free and pinpoints your location by using a combination of three words. It is available on both iOS and Android devices and can work offline without a cellular connection. The Los Angeles Fire Department will also be partnering up with what3words to help locate emerging fires, lost hikers and more quicker and more precise.
