On Friday, Walt Disney Company announced that all of its parks will require COVID vaccines for salaried and non-union hourly workers! The Walt Disney Company made a statement to People Magazine saying:
At Walt Disney Company, the safety and well-being of our employees during the pandemic has been and continues to be a top priority. Toward that end, and based on the latest recommendations of scientists, health officials and our own. medical professionals that the COVID-19 vaccine provides the best protection agains severe infection, we are requiring that all salaried and non-union hourly employees in the U.S. working at an of our sites to be fully vaccinated.
Employees will have a 60 day period to get the COVID Vaccine, and ALL new hires will have to be vaccinated before employment begins.
