Britney Spears had her second conservatorship hearing on Wednesday, July,14th 2021 at the Stanley Most Courthouse in Los Angeles, CA. Here's everything you need to know about Britney Spears conservatorship hearing:

Britney Spears is allowed to exercise her right to hire her own attorney, this was approved by a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge. Her new lawyer is Matthew Rosengart, who has defended many celebrities including Steven Spielberg. In court Rosengart called for Jamie Spears to step down as Britney's conservator, he said

"Jamie Spears should be removed as conservator because it is in the best interest of the conservatee. We will be moving promptly and aggressively for his removal. The question remains, why is he involved? He should step down voluntarily because that's what in the best interest of the conservatee"

Britney Spears also spoke in the courtroom, where she said "I thought they were trying to kill me." She also told the court that she would like to charge her father Jamie Spears with conservatorship abuse. Britney let the court know that she does not want to be evaluated, and she wants her father to be removed from the conservatorship stating she has experienced "serious abandonment issues"
