L.A. County Hair Salons and Barbershops Can Reopen With Limited Capacity

If your hair is looking a hot mess, here is some good news: Hair salons and barbershops in L.A. County are officially opening back up.

Officials have reportedly announced that hair salons and barbershops will be allowed to reopen at 25% capacity.

According to reports, options for increasing capacity will be reevaluated three weeks after Labor Day. If coronavirus case numbers allow, hair salons will be allowed to increase capacity to 50%.

Once the orders are posted and shops have reviewed the protocol and understand what they need to do, they will be able to reopen as soon as today, officials said.

Malls in some other counties, including Orange County, began reopening Monday, when the state's new guidelines took effect.
