An estimated 97 percent of teen boys and 83 percent of teen girls play video games. Chris Adam’s parents worried that his teenage passion for video games was a waste of time and didn’t see how that could prepare him for a future career. Today, however, Adam is fostering the next generation of tech-savvy kids. Chris leads a curriculum-basedesportsafterschool program in Orange County, and he’s showing everyone just how gaming can provide kids with real world skills and prepare them for future careers in STEM.
