LA County Artist-Activist Plans to Distribute Vibrant Tents to Homeless

ABC7 reports that an artist in Los Angeles has designed an adorned tents for the homeless.

The tents are designed to be bright, vibrant and as ABC7 adds...to grab your attention. The report states that the artist - Ed Massey - plans to soon distribute thousands of tents to the homeless population in Los Angeles.

Massey is the same artist who created a widely-seen statue of a homeless man in Santa Monica.

Massey told ABC7 the following: "We will distribute -- in the next five to 15 months -- 5,000 tents. Up to 5,000 is an initial starting point. So the homeless person who may need a new tent will have a more colorful tent."

The artists also adds that he understands not everyone will agree with this idea, quote...Some see it as enabling a problem rather than helping to solve it.
