J Balvin & Bad Bunny Animate the VMA Stage With Epic Performance

The Oasis duo brought their album to life at this year's MTV VMA ceremony.

Bad Bunny and J Balvin made history tonight by singing in Spanish at the iconic award ceremony. They took over the 2019 MTV VMAs in a very lively way, becoming flying cartoons and literally animating the stage.

The two joined forces to perform "Que Pretendes," from their collab albumOasis, released earlier this year in June. This performance was EPIC! A giant VR cacti filled the stage, and the duo wore oversized costumes, giant cartoon hands and all.

J Balvin is a huge fan of pop art, and for every show, he fuses that passion with his music...I mean you can just tell in the way he dresses.

As seen tonight, both J Balvin and Bad Bunny were nominated at the 2019 VMAs. J Balvin took home an award for best Latin video with Rosalía’s “Con Altura."
