Aladdin has surpassed Independence Day as Smith's highest grossing movie. Aladdin has brought in $872.4 million worldwide and climbing. Independence Day hit $817.4 million.
In an Instagram video, Smith said, “To be in this game as long as I’ve been in this game and to have my biggest movie at this point in my career, I just want to say thank you."
