Camila Cabello will really never be the same, and that is because she is heading to the big screen!
The 'Havana' singer is set to star in a re-imagination of the classic fairytale, Cinderella. The movie's director - Kay Cannon - confirmed on Twitter on Tuesday. Cannon, who wrote Pitch Perfect, will also write the script for the upcoming Cinderella project.
"Havana-ya-ya-ya-yay!!!!@Camila_Cabello @JKCorden #femalefilmaker #director #writer," Cannon wrote on Twitter.
The film is based on an original idea from James Corden, who will be producing alongside Leo Pearlman of Fulwell 73.
The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Sony is putting the project on the fast track for production. The details on the storyline, cast and release date are being kept under wraps, however, the Fifth Harmony alum will also be very involved in the film’s music.
Camila has been teasing her studio sessions, which confirms CC2 is on the way! So that means we are getting more Camila music and Camila in a movie! Yas! We cannot wait!
