Normani Performed A Rihanna Tribute At ‘Sweetener World Tour’

Normani, Normani, Normani. She will soon be a household name, especially after shining as the opening act on The Sweetener Tour.

Normani is one of the biggest rising pop stars, who already holds two radio hits, "Love Lies" and "Dancing With A Stranger," and of course her sultry "Waves".

The former Fifth Harmony member has the most coveted opening gig of the year, which is the opening act for Ariana Grande's Sweetener Tour. Being the opening act for the biggest name in pop music is sure to bring her more fans, and tons of exposure.

Since Normani has not released her debut album, she took the opportunity during the opening night in Albany to present her singing skills....but through Rihanna's music. Normani threw the audience for the most delightfully unexpected loop. She didn’t perform any unreleased songs, but she did a four-song Rihanna medley in the middle of her set.

Normani performed several of the pop icon’s biggest hits — 2012’s “Diamonds,” 2009’s “Run This Town,” and 2011’s “Where Have You Been” and Calvin Harris collab, “We Found Love.” You better werk, Normani.

Normani not only played tribute to Rihanna, the former Fifth Harmony singer also threw it back to her girl group days. She performed a solo rendition of Fifth Harmony's smash hit "Work From Home."
