Earlier today Netflix announced that it has officially cancelled One Day at a Time.
According to Netflix it was a "very difficult decision" but one that was ultimately made.
“The choice did not come easily — we spent several weeks trying to find a way to make another season work but in the end simply not enough people watched to justify another season,” the streaming service tweeted.
One Day at a Time debuted back in 2017 and starred Rita Moreno, Justina Machado, Todd Grinnell, Isabella Gomez, Marcel Ruiz and Stephen Tobolowsky.
