Camila Cabello is officially the fourth artist who performed at RodeoHouston to give a Selena Quintanilla tribute during their concert. So it looks like the RodeoHouston might want to consider a formal Selena tribute next year.
Camila Cabello's honor of the late Tejano singer was a gorgeous cover of “Dreaming of You.” It was a mellow, emotional moment that gave way to Cabello’s own song, “Consequences.”
The previous artist at the HoustonRodeo to honor Selena are: Kacey Musgraves performing “Como la Flor,” Prince Royce crooning “No Me Queda Más” and Cardi B paying tribute backstage, also "Como la Flor."
Camila Cabello was supposed to make her RodeoHouston debut two years ago, but unfortunately never did. She left Fifth Harmony just a few months before the girl group slayed the RodeoHouston in March of 2017.
But the "Havana" singer finally made her debut tonight (Tuesday)! Cabello took the stage as a solo star in front of 55,782 fans. She wore a black cowboy hat, corset, sheer gloves and thigh high boots and it was honestly so fabulous!
“Now this Miami girl is getting to be a rodeo girl tonight. I get to live my cowgirl dreams,” she said in a Instagram video on her personal account. She made that statement right before her song "Inside out".
