Meet our current KIIS Next Up Artist of the week - Cris Cab ! Born in Miami, Florida, Cris' musical endeavors have brought him all over the globe. According to his official bio, Cris has shared the stage with Ariana Grande, Ellie Goulding, Sam Smith and more while achieving success on many international music charts. On our Next Up stage he stopped by to chat with KIIS FM's EJ about collaborating with friend J. Balvin, being mentored by Pharrell and more!
To start off EJ hit Cab with some 'Would You Rather?' questions. Turns out the Bahamas is the 'Liar, Liar' singer's favorite vacation spot as he said "I'm out in the Bahamas a lot...it's super, super relaxed and tranquil." One of his other top vacation destinations is the South of France, which is also where he shot most of his 'Just Wanna Love You' music video. He says "most of it was shot in the south of France. J Balvin wasn't able to go because of his schedule so we did the other half in Miami."
Looking towards the future, Cris says he has a lot of 'new music' and 'amazing collabs' on the way along with a tour. He declined to reveal all the artists we was working with, but did tell EJ he has some music coming out with his mentor Pharrell.
