For those of you who don't know, Ricky Martin's rise to fame started in an all-boy pop group called Menudo. In 1984, Oprah Winfrey brought the boy band Menudo, which included then 13-year-old Ricky Martin, onto her show at the time, 'A.M. Chicago.'

Well Ricky Martin's adorable dance moves, and his slick hair caught not only the attention of the audience, but especially Oprah's.
Right after Menudo performed on “A.M. Chicago,” Oprah walked directly towards Ricky Martin and told him exactly what we were all thinking: “I want to talk to you because you are the cutest thing I have seen. " Of course, the fangirls in the audience were in total agreement.
Oprah asked Ricky how he went about celebrating the news that he was chosen to be one of the band members of Menudo. Martin told Winfrey that his family were the first to know and that he then had a disco party to celebrate. A DISCO PARTY!
The faces of the young women in the audience say it all. It was clear that he was born to be a star!
Many years later, in 2010, Oprah brought back Ricky Martin as a guest on her show and surprised him with that same girl who he hugged and kissed in the 1984 video. Unbelievable!
To this day, people continue to crush on Ricky Martin and his influence in the Latin music industry.
Can you believe he was only 13 years old when he was in Menudo? His face has literally not changed one bit.
