Imagine the person you thought you would end up with, now imagine ending up with someone completely opposite from that! I say this because that’s kinda exactly what happened to Shailene Woodley and her explanation made me LOL.
Shailene, as we all know now, is engaged to NFL player Aaron Rodgers.
"He’s first off a wonderful, incredible human being. But I never thought I’d be engaged with somebody who threw balls for a living," she said during an interview. "Like, I never thought as a little girl, I was like ‘yeah when I grow up, I’m gonna marry someone who throws balls.”
I thought this reaction was so honest and funny because I think we all have this picture of what it’s going to look like and then you meet the person and it’s like – boom, you were not what I was expecting at alllllll!!
Shailene added that she didn’t really grow up with sports, especially American sports so it was never on her radar.
