Billie Eilish's stunning cover art for Happier Than Ever was in part thanks to 2002 animated film Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron.
Billie shared on 102.7 KIIS FM's The Vibe while shooting her album cover, she wanted to convey an array of emotions.
"I knew I wanted it to feel very intriguing and confusing … and many different emotions," Billie shared. "We were shooting it and I wasn't loving what my face was doing … and the lights were so bright I was like should I cry? … and to do that guess what I did? … To really make myself cry, I made [the photographer] play the 'Spirit' soundtrack ... and it worked!"
"All thanks to 'here I am, this is me'" Billie sang, referring to the Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron theme track.
