BBQ season is upon us! I've been loving grilling and eating al fresco with my boyfriend as we head into summer and one delicious treat I've been savoring is watermelon.
But, not all watermelons are equal!
So how do you pick the best one? You should one that has a strong, consistent stripe pattern. The green stripes should be a deep, dark green, while the pale stripes should be a creamy, light yellow. Additionally, you surprisingly want to pick a dull looking one. If it's super shiny, it's underripe.
