It all kinda happened so fast. We saw not much of Nick Jonas all quarantine and then boom he’s hosted and performed on SNL and he's dropping some major tracks! Nick announced he's dropping an entire album March 12th and it is all based around one theme: loneliness.
“I sort of started writing this record back in July. My wife was over in Germany finishing up this little movie called Matrix…and I was like ‘You know? I feel very disconnected from the world, first of all, and now my person and I just dug in writing.'”
Nick said the album is touching on loneliness & isolation but also hopefulness for the future and a brighter day ahead, which I think we can all get behind!
I find so interesting that no matter how famous you are, how much money you have, where you were quarantined, there was this universal feeling of isolation and it's so relatable.
