An Ariana Grande fan asked her on Twitter what the inspiration behind the song "Ghostin" was. This was her response...
"Feeling badly for the person you're with because you love somebody else. Feeling badly because he can tell he can't compare...and how I should be ghosting him."
To me this about how when she was with Pete Davidson, but she was missing Mac Miller, but couldn't be with Mac because he was dealing with his own demons.
But, it brought me to this internal mental battle in my own head. If you are dating someone and you're thinking about being with someone else...why not break up with that person?
Like being single is not worse than being with someone just as a place holder or a band-aid and I'm here to preach the word for the single girl...SINGLEDOM is NOT bad you guys! You get to do what you want, when you want, how you want and once you get married you don't get to do that!
