Sarah Drew Says Leaving "Grey's" Was Like Attending Her Own Funeral

The upcoming season of Grey's Anatomy will be a little weird because we won't have Dr. April Kepner. Of course if you're a Grey's fan you know that Sarah Drew's character was written off at the end of season 14.

At a pre-Emmy's party she shared what it felt like to leave Grey's, "In a way, you almost feel like you’re attending your own funeral. Weirdly. But in a really beautiful way."

But, she is happy with the outpour of love from fans and her former cast members. That really keeps her going!

I love how she put this, "It’s like when you’re let go before something ends and when it’s not your choice, people come up and tell you why they love you and how much they love you and what you meant to them."

Wondering what's in the future for Sarah? She hopes to produce and direct more! I'll support whatever she puts out there. You go girl! I'll be missing you on Grey's for sure.
