Ariana Grande Was Asked To Perform At Aretha Franklin's Memorial Service

We are still morning Aretha Franklin's death and the world together during her memorial service on August 31st. The event will be filled with musical performances everyone from Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Faith Hill, Chaka Khan, Fantasia Barrino to our girl Ariana Grande!

The day Aretha passed from pancreatic cancer, August 16th was the same say Ariana stopped by Jimmy Fallon to promote her new album Sweetener. Ari teamed up with Jimmy's house band The Roots to perform a beautiful rendition of Aretha's hit "Natural Woman."

If you missed it, make sure to check it out below. Aretha's publicist was so touched by Ari's tribute that they reached out to her to perform at the memorial service. Ari and Aretha met a few times, so I am sure she will be smiling down at Ari's performance.

The memorial will be able to be viewed live online and on TV. ❤️
