Are you getting enough sleep at night?! I know sometimes I struggle with this. 🙋🏼 According to the National Sleep Foundation we should be getting 7-9 hours a night for optimal mental and physical health.
If you're not you may not want to workout. Now, I'm not taking about being lazy here...I'm talking legit EXHAUSTED, like pure exhaustion! Reason behind skipping the workout to catch some Z's is because you could really hurt yourself!
When you're sleep deprived exercising for your body can be bad. You can derail your immune system defenses, hurt your body's ability to repair your muscles and really interfere with your cognitive function. Which is why I say you can hurt yourself. If you're feeling fuzzy with that tired brain you could injure yourself by not executing movements properly.
So, if you're determined to make it to your AM SoulCycle prepare for a goodnight's rest. Turn your phone off and set a nighttime routine to ensure you can get the best night's sleep possible, make it to your workout and avoid injuries. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
