Mirai Nagasu Is The First US Female To Land A Triple Axel At The Olympics

Just a few days ago the 2018 Winter Olympics kicked off in PyeongChang! Though it's just getting going history is ALREADY being made and can I just saw I am in total awe of these athletes.

24 year old Mirari Nagasu took a historic jump over the weekend. She landed a triple axel, which made her the very first female figure skater to land one in the Olympic Games! Previously only two other US female skaters have even pulled off this jump. This is HUGE, get it girl.

In addition to the remarkable triple axel, she scored her personal best which landed her in second place in the women's free skate. Team USA finished with the bronze medal!

If you missed the moment, check it out...
