So is this finally actually going to happen, or what?
We have been talking about TikTok being banned in America for YEARS…but the deadline is actually here…it’s THIS SUNDAY!
And this is legit…unless the Supreme Court steps in before Sunday…it’s bye bye TikTok…but would it vanish from your phone? No. It will disappear from all app stores and would no longer be updated…but it would probably work like normal for a while before losing functionality.
Nonetheless, TikTok creators are rushing to find alternatives… and RedNote has skyrocketed to the top of Apple’s app store…as has the photo-sharing app Lemon8.
But here’s the problem: The reason TikTok may be banned here is because it’s owned by China. RedNote is also owned by…China. Lemon8 is owned by…the exact same Chinese company that owns TikTok.
And by the way, why do we need another app to replace it with anyway? Can’t we just be happy with Instagram, Snapchat or X?
