I have a couple dogs and I know how stressful it can be to travel without them.
Traveling with pets can be a lot, especially with 3 kids…but leaving them behind and having to deal with dogsitters…or boarding facilities can also be stressful.
Now, there's a new dog-focused airline that successfully launched its first sold-out flight last week!
Bark Air’s first flight took off from New York to LA… catering to dogs too large to fit under seats on traditional flights.
Bark offers its canine passengers a "white paw service" where they can interact with other dogs and receive treats, noise-canceling ear muffs, a drink of their choice and more…Besides the NYC to LA route, flights will also be available from London.
Each dog ticket includes a human companion, with no restrictions on size or breed…BUT it’s extremely expensive. A one-way trip from New York to LA costs $6,000.
But the CEO said if the demand is there…that will mean more flights…and that will drive down costs.
Do you think more flights should be dog friendly??
