The Sunset Strip in West Hollywood is on the cusp of a transformative development with the introduction of “The Sphere on Sunset.”
YES, a big huge sphere looking thing (like the smaller version of
the one in Vegas) could be coming to LA!
“The Sphere on Sunset” stands out as one of the first 21 approved projects.
The Sphere itself is a proposed 49-foot diameter glass structure (about 10% the size of the Vegas Sphere)..that would be a new iconic landmark on the Strip.
The outer part of the sphere would act as a digital billboard!
The inside would have 3 levels…recaption on the bottom…and broadcasting and podcasting area on top with a backdrop of the LA basin. There is also talk of a public viewing area on top.
Basically Sunset and De Longpre…
I love this idea! The drawings look dope and this is the future of LA!
