It’s examples like this where I truly LOVE social media and it makes it feel like a small community coming together to help someone out!
An expecting dad asked the internet a "big question" about childbirth — and parents shared their most honest answers.
He tweeted "A big question for anyone who has given birth: What is one thing that your partner did, said or brought to the hospital that really helped you through your birth experience?"
The responses keep pouring in but here are some of the best ones!
- Don’t speak during a contraction unless it’s words of encouragement.
- What’s her favorite meal? Have it planned out for after delivery.
- One person said, He was filling out the paperwork and when it asked for the fathers full name, he said “babe, what’s your dads full name”…OMG, you’re the father babe!
- Chapstick!!! Phone charger. Snacks for after. And don’t tell her if she goes on the table.
And here’s my advice…pay attention! Michael asked so many questions and was able to catch the fact that my pain medication button wasn’t working so he was able to alert the nurses for me.
