See The Teaser Trailer For Netflix's College Admissions Scandal Documentary

Felicity Huffman And Lori Loughlin Appear In Federal Court To Answer Charges Stemming From College Admissions Scandal

It seems like both an eternity ago and just yesterday that we first learned about the college admission scandal, but it was actually two years ago next month, and now there is a Netflix documentary coming out soon about everything that really happened with the college bribery scandal.

This week, Netflix released a teaser trailer for the new documentary, tweeting, "everything you've heard is true, but you haven't heard everything.”

I MEANNNN if that doesn't get you excited?!

Apparently, the documentary will use real conversations recreated from FBI wiretaps (recreated for legal and quality of the call reasons I assume), the documentary will dive into more than just the celebrity side of it that we saw. Netflix says, the film "dives into the methods used by Rick Singer, the man who persuaded his wealthy clients to cheat the educational system" and uses "innovative combination of interviews and narrative recreations of the FBI's wiretapped conversations between Singer and his clients."

Part of the story that we do know includes Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin. The actresses were among the big names charged in the college admissions scandal and have both have served their time in prison and have been released. Lori’s husband Mossimo Giannulli is currently serving his five-month prison sentence and should be released this April.

The two men behind the new documentary is none other than Chris Smith, who directed Fyre and served as an executive producer for Tiger King, and Jon Karmen, who also worked on Fyre. So what I'm saying is, you already know it's going to be SOOO good.

The best part about it? Even though we only got the teaser trailer so far, the documentary is not far away! Operation Varsity Blues: The College Admissions Scandal is set to be released on Netflix on March 17, 2021. Guess I know what my plans are for St. Patrick's Day!
