If you're a Friends fan - or even if you're not and you just love a fun cookbook - then I have some news for you! A cookbook inspired by the sitcom is coming in September (which is just around the corner at this point) and there are a couple recipes you can try out right now.

After several rumors, the cookbook was announced back in May, and will be released on September 22nd. The book is written by Amanda Nicole Yee and is packed with over 90 recipes, each inspired by iconic episodes of the show.

Of course, there couldn't be an official Friends cookbook without the recipe for Rachel Green's famous - or infamous - trifle, complete with custard *and* meat. The book will also have the recipe for Joey's favorite meatball sub (uhm delicious), but if you don't want to WAIT to make your Friends inspired meals, the publisher has released some of the recipes early.

You can find the early-released recipes here, and what I love so much about the cookbook pages we get to see early is that each recipe is paired with the episode that inspired it.

So if, for instance, you want to make chocolate chip cookies based on the cookies that Phoebe's grandma would make - and Monica begged for the recipe for - you could do so with the recipe in the book and THEN sit down and watch season 7, episode 3: "The One With Phoebe's Cookies" as suggested on the page.

It's honestly all SOOO genius. I'm such a sucker for these things and can't wait to get my hands on one of these cookbooks. I already own the Friends LEGO set and went to the movie theater to watch the Thanksgiving episodes back in November. SO yeah, you could say I am SOLD.

What recipe are you most hoping is included in the book?
