Ohhh this story is going to give me baby fever.
Some HUGE congratulations are in order because actor and Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband, lawyer, Justin Mikita are expecting a BABY!
Jesse shared the huge news about the couple's first child being due in July to James Corden during an appearance on The Late, Late Show with James Corden.
Jesse is currently wrapping up the final season of the ABC comedy Modern Family which will end after the series' 11th season. He appeared on The Late, Late Show alongside Charlie Hunnam where they talked about what it was like turning 40.
For Jesse, he said turning 40 made him feel like he had to "get serious" about some things - and that's when he went ahead and spilled the big news with the host and Charlie.

Jesse just kind of blurts out the big news amidst the conversation about what your 40s are like - joking that he hadn't really told anyone and would like to keep the news between just the three of them on stage.
He started by talking about finally becoming an adult at 40:
“It’s when you finally become an adult, I feel... Like, ‘I need to start getting serious about things.’“
And then shared:
“Actually, this is something I haven’t even mentioned to anyone, if we could just keep it between the three of us and you all, but I’m actually expecting a baby in July with my husband.”
When James asked if he knows if they're having a boy or girl, Jesse just responded, "a human!" and then joked with Charlie that "no pressure" but he should start thinking about kids in the next 4 years, since Jesse will be welcoming his first at 44.
Though Jesse and Justin don't have any kids of their own yet, Jesse certainly has had some practice thanks to playing a dad and uncle in Modern Family. Like he says in the video, he's been doing the show for 11 years! When the show began, he and Eric Stonestreet's daughter was a little girl. Now she's old enough (and a new actress from the very beginning of the show) to be teaching them how to use TikTok.
This kid is going to be soooo lucky to have Jesse and Justin as dads. Congratulations to the couple!!!
