We all love Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth together.
And it's easy, when you LOVE a celebrity couple, to really want to see the pair have kids together, because not only is that AWESOME that it's a spawn of two awesome celebs, but also think about just how CUTE their kids would be!!
But, for Miley and Liam, don't expect to see kids anytime very soon.
Miley recently opened up in her Elle interview about why she and Liam are not going to try and have kids in the near future, and it's something that will certainly make you stop and think for a minute.
As you may know, the married couple lost their home in the devastating Malibu fires last year. And in her new Elle interview, she talked about that experience:
"With natural disasters, you don’t get a choice. You surrender. And nature’s female. When she’s angry, don’t f*ck with her... The earth is angry."
So how does this all play into her desire, or lack thereof, to have kids? Well, she went on to talk about the future of our planet, and her lack of desire to bring another person into this world if the planet is in danger.
"We just take and take and expect it to keep producing. And it’s exhausted. It can’t produce. We’re getting handed a piece-of-sh*t planet, and I refuse to hand that down to my child. Until I feel like my kid would live on an earth with fish in the water, I’m not bringing in another person to deal with that."
Miley has always been one to speak her mind, and climate change is her latest issue to tackle, and I do think she has a point.
And as a mom of two young kids, I absolutely have to hope that we can all make some changes to be able to give our kids the future they deserve.
