We All NEED These Long Distance Friendship Lamps

Let's face it, we all have a long distance friend or two.

And when you think of that friend and want to let them know, what do you do? Do you text them? Give them a call? Not do anything at all because you don't have a ton of extra time for a little conversation that might turn into a long conversation?

What if you could just, touch something that would give them a small signal that you're thinking of them?

YEP. That's possible through Uncommon Goods' friendship lamp!

Uncommon Goods' Long-Distance Friendship Lamp uses technology to bring you and your long distance friend a little closer, even if you can't physically be closer.

I know you're wondering, OK but how does this work? It's all thanks to WiFi. Your lamp is synced with its partner lamp through WiFi, and will react to just one touch! So when you touch the lamp, your friend's lamp will light up at the same time. And vice versa.

The best part? The lamps come in a variety of color and has a pretty wooden exterior, or you can mix and match with their mid-century modern design. So it won't ruin the look of whatever room you choose to keep the lamp in!

Another awesome feature of the lamp? You can hook it up with a GROUP, and each person has their designated color, so you know who is tapping their lamp to say hi!

I LOVE the idea of having something like this for my kids down the road, when they move to college or are old enough to be living on their own.

It's sweet and simple, and doesn't take up any time for you or the person you're thinking of.

Would any of you ever use these lamps?! I am considering getting some. Maybe for my sister and her daughter's so I can always say hi!
