What Do You Do When A Public Restroom Doesn't Have A Changing Table?

It's so funny for me to see all of the ways that something as simple as "leaving the house" has become for me over the last 5.5 months with the twins!

We have a full list of things that we HAVE to have at all times if Aiza and Maxon are with us (which is almost always) - but sometimes, even when you're the most prepared you think you possibly can be, you STILL run into issues when you're in public with your babies.

Last weekend at a restaurant I ran into a maaajor issue when Aiza had a big blowout (sorry to be graphic!).

I took Aiza back into the women's restroom to change her... and then I realize there's NO changing table or counter space in the restroom! I honestly stood in the bathroom for a minute or two looking around because I was shocked! I thought I MUST have just been missing the table but nope, nothing.

And I'm sorry, but there's no way I was going to change my baby on the floor of a public restroom.

Soooo, I did what I think any mom would have done! I took her back out into the restaurant and ended up changing her in our booth.

I feel bad because I may have offended some people around us, but I really felt like I had NO choice, and I did my best.

But it really lead me to wonder, what should I have done instead? I felt like I really had no other option, but I'm sure we will run into this issue again in the future, since apparently not all public places have changing tables.

It also made me wonder what Michael would do if he were out with the kids alone and needed to change them. There's rarely changing tables in men's restrooms!

Give me your best advice for what you would do in this situation!
