There are power couples, and then there are couples like Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, let's face it, they're just on another level!
But could we be seeing a marriage between this (beyond) power couple? It sounds like that MAYYYY be possible. She made some recent comments to Jimmy Fallon about her new song "El Anillo" that hint we could be seeing a J-Lo, A-Rod wedding.
Yep, the new song is allllll about getting engaged. So of course, Jimmy called Alex on air to ask him how he felt about the song, and Jennifer chimed in:
No pressure! The song is definitely about that, it is, but I felt like it was kind of something that all women get to a point where they say, ‘Ok, what’s up?’ Like, we’re good, everything’s great, what’s going on? Am I staying or am I going?
Jen and Alex have been together just over a year, and we've been obsessed with them since the day they became official.
Jimmy Fallon of course had to get Alex on his show to roast him about the song and the meaning:
Alex tells the story about the first time he heard the new song - he knew it was "going to be a smash!"
But of course Jimmy pressured him into answering whether or not he is thinking about proposing. Alex managed to dodge the question pretty well, but he did assure Jimmy that whenever it does happen, Jimmy will be the first to know.
Jennifer has been married three times before - her most recent marriage to Marc Anthony ended in 2014 but gave them their twins Emme and Maximilian who are 10 years old now - so whether or not she's ready to make the jump for the fourth time is something to consider.
But she and A-Rod seem to have such a great dynamic, especially with the way their kids get along, that I could definitely see them making it work!
Let's go that El Anillo, Alex!
