Have you ever taken a digital detox? Sisanie shared on-air on Thursday, August 22, you can now pay to take âdigital detox vacationsâ and honestly it sounds like a great idea.
A recent story in the Wall Street Journal shared that resorts and hotels are now offering tech-free stays for guests to unplug and detach from the confines of their phones and computers. While the author behind the article, âHow to Break Up With Your Phone,â thinks itâs nuts to pay money to disconnect, Ryan and Sis beg to differ.Â
âItâs this concept called digital detox vacations,â Sis explained on-air. âWe always pay extra for great WiFi ⊠so now you basically would pay to not have WiFi,â she added, explaining thereâs a spot near us in California in Big Sur called Treebones Resort. ââŠYouâre paying for the experience,â Sisanie added. âSo this is like âglampingâ and itâs very off the grid, off the internet, no service really in general, [like], your phone will not work. ⊠Itâs meant ⊠to not have any technology whatsoever and to be present in your vacation.âÂ
