Gobble, gobble! Are you in charge of cooking up the Thanksgiving turkey this year?
It's a big responsibility, so make sure you don't mess up! Here are the three most common mistakes people make, and you need to avoid making, when cooking up the turkey for the holiday.
· THAWING YOUR TURKEY ANYWHERE BUT THE FRIDGE - Bacteria and germs grow at an alarming rate when thawed at room temperature.
· WASHING YOUR TURKEY - It just spreads bacteria throughout your kitchen. The heat will kill them.
· COOKING IT FROZEN - It will cook unevenly…leaving you with undercooked or overcooked meat.
