Kobe Bryant To Have A Section of Figueroa St. Renamed After Him Near DTLA

It's been a long time coming.

Kobe Bryant will soon have a portion of a street outside of Staples Center renamed after him in recognition of his legacy.

L.A. City Council members Curren Price and Herb Wesson Monday announced they are introducing a motion to rename a stretch of Figueroa Street in downtown L.A. to Kobe Bryant Boulevard.

Under the new proposal, a 3-mile stretch of Figueroa will be renamed Kobe Bryant Boulevard right between Olympic and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Truly a beautiful way to honor the GOAT.
