Lyft is lending a helping hand to those who are unemployed and seeking a new job. Getting to an interview when you are carless is sometimes IMPOSSIBLE that's why I love that Lyft has created its new Job Access Program.
The ridesharing company has partnered with several nonprofits to help bridge a transportation gap that can often prevent people from holding a job.
'For the unemployed, reliable transportation to a job interview or to the first few weeks of work can mean the difference between successful, long-term employment and lost opportunities,' the company said in a press release.
'So we’ve partnered with several leading national and local organizations dedicated to workforce development in order to deliver free or discounted rides to people making their way through the employment pipeline.'
