In a move toward a better flight experience for those not into cute infants (who DOESN'T LOVE babies?!), some airlines are now adding a booking feature where you can see infant seating assignments on the flight.
Japan Air Lines and All Nippon Airways (ANA) added a booking tool where you can see exactly where infants are seated. That means you can strategically plan your nap on the flight, away from the potential crying.
For me, it doesn't bother me at all, but I also board flights prepared with my noise cancelling headphones. It does wonders from the uncooperative adults, too, that we see go viral on the internet. It's not just the babies, people!
No word on if this booking tool will be available on American-based airlines.
