USC to Hold In-Person Commencement Ceremonies For 2020, 2021 Classes In May

University Financial Aid Officials Suspended In Student Loan Probe

Great news for USC students who missed out on their graduation ceremonies last year!

The University of Southern California has announced plans to hold-in person commencement ceremonies for the classes of 2020 and 2021! The ceremonies will take place over a nearly two-week span in May. How exciting!

The graduation ceremonies will take place at the iconic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. According to the university, only students residing in California will be allowed to attend due to state restrictions.

The university also announced that they are actively working to see if there are any venues that will allow out-of-state residents to attend the ceremonies. For students who cannot attend in person, the ceremony will be broadcast online (live and on-demand for future viewing).

All graduations are reportedly being scheduled twice a day from May 14 to May 25 and each student will be allowed two guests.

Graduates will have the opportunity to cross the stage, hear their names read, receive their diplomas, and have their photos taken while projected on the screens at the stadium.
