Get ready to play “Un Dia [One Day]” in repeat!
Dua Lipa has teamed up with Latin superstars J Balvin, Bad Bunny and Tainy for the new track, and it is everything you would expect when three of the biggest names in reggaeton collaborate with a megastar like Dua!
The track, which was released today (July 23) fuses the best of both worlds! It takes Spanglish music to the next level. Billboard describes the tracks "the lacing and seduction of melodies, dream pop and flairs of dancehall and reggaeton.
With a chorus that says “one day you’ll love me again / one day you’ll love me for sure / one day you’ll wake up feeling how I’ve been feeling baby and knock on my door,” the lyrics of “Un Dia [One Day]” reflect nostalgia, love, and heartbreak.
According to Billboard, this epic collaboration flourished over a year and a half ago after Producer Tainy cut the demo and immediately brought J Balvin onto the track. It was J Balvin who then sought Dua Lipa, eventually adding Bad Bunny on the track. Fun fact, the report also states that Bad Bunny recorded his verse in “Un Dia [One Day]” the same day he recorded his 2019 song “Callaita.”
