This donut shop in Downey is serving up some amazing Mexican pop culture-inspired treats!
"Donas", which is a play on how many Latinos pronounce donuts in Spanish, offers a taste of Mexican pop culture, and taste that many Latinos grew up with.
Their creations, including a glittery honey lavender donut called the Bidi Bom, a tribute to the one and only Reina de la Cumbia, Selena! (See photos below)
Frida, Abuelita hot chocolate and El Santo are among other inspirations for donuts and treats at Donas! They even offer a popular Latino treat known as the bionico donuts, mazapan donuts and once because we're so excited about it, again, FRIDA DONUTS!
The delicious, sugary treats are made fresh daily with real yeast and take many hours to make just right.
