Oh Comadre Candles was created by Marcela Gomez who also happens to be one of the original founders of Concha Con. According to Mitu, when coming up with the concept for these candles, she wanted people to be able to take people back to family parties. So not only will it take you back to family parties, now you can bring these as gifts to family parties!
Mitu adds that the creator of these candles started as a form of therapy when she wanted to get her mind off her nursing job. Adding that while noticed there weren’t any candles with Latino aromas.
Drawing inspiration from many traditional Latino treats, remedies and cleaning products...the end product? A Latino candle that celebrates life in hopes that they evoke emotion, memory, comfort, and a smile.
